Elston Parish

Bus Service 90 and your Parish Council

Dear residents of Elston and surrounding villages,

The Parish Council of Elston has been notified by Nottingham City Transport (NCT) that, as of 1 February 2026, they will operate the Nottingham to Newark bus service (Service 90, formerly known as the Fossway Flyer).

The service will continue to run between Nottingham, Bingham, Farndon, Newark, Balderton and Fernwood.

Service 90 (Pathfinder 90) will operate seven days a week, running hourly during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays and every two hours during evenings and on Sundays. Please note that operating times will change in February, so residents are encouraged to check the new timetable.

Adult single fares will be capped at £3 across the full route as part of NCT’s participation in the National Bus Fare Cap scheme. Easyrider Further and Network Rider tickets will also be available for journeys starting or finishing outside the Greater Nottingham area, offering discounted travel for regular users.

The new Pathfinder 90 timetable and route map can be found at
www.nctx.co.uk/pathfinder90
You can also download the Nottingham City Transport app, where day rider tickets can be purchased.

Your Parish Council

We would also like to take this opportunity to introduce your local Parish Council and explain who supports the village on your behalf:

Our next Parish Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, 11 February at 7.00 pm at Elston Village Hall. Villagers are welcome to attend to raise concerns, share views, or simply to listen.
