The Chequers Inn is the only public house in Elston. It offers a relaxed style and cosy corners, the 19th Century coaching inn has been a part of village life since 1840. Friendly and relaxed, we’re open 12 till close Wednesday to Sunday. Serving a range of classic beverages, wines and spirits alongside an extensive selection of gins and tempting bar and restaurant menus.
The Chequers has been a pub for at least 200 years and was one of three in the village at the time. Today, The Chequers Inn is a true village pub, open to everyone and with a friendly smile for all. We welcome children and can provide high chairs if required as well as meals from our tasty children’s menu. We’re dog-friendly too, with a ready supply of treats and belly rubs for your four-legged friends.
